Scottish Country Dance Classes will start September 19, 2023
COME DANCING
The Edmonton Scottish Society Country Dancers otherwise known as the “Ellerslie Dancers”
invite you to come and join us.
CLASS INFORMATION
When: Every Tuesday, 7:30 to 9:30
Classes: Social Class (to dance old and new Reels, Jigs and Strathspeys)
Adult Beginner Class (to teach basic steps, formations and easier dances)
Requirements:
Soft soled shoes
Two feet (preferably one left, one right, but don’t let that stop you)
Sense of humour and smiles
You don’t Need:
A partner
A Kilt
Scottish ancestry
Any previous dance experience
Scottish Country Dancing:
is FUN, good exercise, stimulating and an enjoyable way to meet
people for all walks of life.

We hold Pot Luck supper events, Year end Ceilidh, Dinner and Dance. Where a dance program is made up from what you learn through-out the season.

Entrance to the facility is from the Edmonton Soccer Dome side at 3126 Ewing Trail SW Edmonton, AB
Enter the grounds and drive past the Dome, the Pavillion towards and around the Main Hall.
Exiting the facility is via the 101st SW gate. Please be aware that the 101st SW road is 80 Km/h
