Re: Postponement of ESS Annual General Meeting (Nov. 28, 2020)

Your ESS Board and Executive met via Zoom on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 for its monthly meeting and to review the upcoming scheduled AGM and also to review of the latest Alberta Govt. recommendations for

social contact and distancing with regards to the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic.

Originally, we had planned to hold the AGM with all previous Covid precautions in place at the ESS Main Hall on Saturday November 28, 2020 at 2 pm. with a video conferencing component.

However, in view of the new government suggestions, and with perhaps, not quite a quorum as a possibility (25 members present), based on the responses recieved to date the ESS Board moved that we will be rescheduling the AGM until Saturday January 16, 2021 at 2:00 pm.

Some AGM reports have been distributed to the members at this time and we will send out more in advance of the January AGM. The rescheduled AGM will have a video conferencing component feature as well, although we are hopeful that utilizing all “covid precautions” that we can hold the meeting for members to attend at the ESS Main Hall as well.

Your Board reviewed the audited financial statements and audit review process with Treasurer Leanne Milne and Noel Chin from Metrix Group (Chartered Professional Accountants).
