Ya Canny Stop A Scot

Highland Festival Moving Forward

The Highland Gathering held yearly by the Edmonton Scottish Society is moving forward this year. The Gathering will look different due to sanctioned events being canceled for Highland Dancers and Pipe Bands.

That being said we will have pipes and drums and dancers in attendance as well as the Heavy Events, the wee heavies, vendors, kids area, petting zoo, food trucks, Whisky Tasting, Beer Tent, and more.

Instead of the Highland Gathering this year it will be a Highland Festival to celebrate Scottish culture and the resilience of everyone who has been affected by the pandemic.

We have heard you loud and clear, people want this event to occur and we plan to deliver. Visit us Saturday August 28th. Gate open at 10 a.m. We will be doing entrance sales on site, children 12 and under as well as seniors are free, everyone else is general admission for $10.00.

The Board and Members of the Edmonton Scottish Society hope to see you there.
