EMSA Polar Cup 2021 Guidelines


As the Edmonton Soccer Dome is one of the facilities hosting game play for the

2021 EMSA Polar Cup https://polarcup.ca/

Please be advised of the guidelines implemented by the tournament organizers for the event, posted on their website or otherwise communicated to the event attendees.


The tournament will be restricted to 1 spectator per player inside the playing facility.

The Edmonton Soccer Dome Pavilion does not have additional restrictions outside of the Restrictions Exemption Program https://www.alberta.ca/covid-19-public-health-actions.aspx#REP and the GOA update effective 12:01 a.m. December 24/2021 https://www.alberta.ca/release.cfm?xID=80645B80151B7-DB80-5CB2-610687DC575F2B5C


Of note in the December 24th restrictions as it applied to the Edmonton Soccer Dome - No food or drink consumption in seated audience setting or during intermissions. Masks are to be worn at all times. (This does not apply to the Pavilion, masks may be removed while seated and consuming) - Maximum capacity of 10 persons per table in the Pavilion, no mingling between tables. - Pavilion must stop serving liquor at 11:00 p.m. and close by 12:30 a.m.


The Edmonton Soccer Dome is a rentable event facility which may or may not be accessible by the general public, the renter/event organizer is free to restrict attendance to their event in whatever capacity suits their needs.
